The fair has reinforced its sales strategy by reducing the rates for exhibitors by 40% compared to 2019. Thanks to this initiative, Funermostra aims to cater for the needs of the funeral sector and also sets its sights on boosting the fair’s international outreach.
Valencia, 10 December 2019.- Funermostra, the International Funeral Products and Services Fair, staged at Feria Valencia (Spain), has already set the dates for next year’s event, which will be held from 19 to 21 May 2021. The priorities for this biennial trade show are to consolidate its position as a reference event in the sector through two powerful strategies: adjusting rates for exhibitors and improving its international outreach.
To this end, the Funermostra Organising Committee, which met on 3 December at Feria Valencia, decided to make it easier for exhibitors to participate by reducing rates by 40% compared to 2019. The objective is to substantially increase the number of exhibitors and the range of products and services on offer at the sector’s leading trade fair, to encourage more exhibitors from different sectors to participate, and to make the event an even more attractive proposition for trade professionals from the funeral sector.
In 2021, Funermostra will be more international than ever, with a clear commitment on the part of the organisers to bolster its outreach in international markets. This will enable the event to continue its strategy of attracting international buyers, which was so successful at the 2019 trade fair when purchasers from 30 countries came together at Feria Valencia, including buyers from strategic markets such as China, the United States, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
“We want to offer the industry the best version of Funermostra,” explains the fair’s director, Beatriz Colom, for whom “it is essential to showcase the fair on the international stage in order to attract quality trade visitors and add value to our exhibitors”. Colom also specified, “in addition, it is vital to grow the range of products on offer and that is why we have decided to promote participation by improving conditions and reducing rates”.
In 2021, Funermostra will once again be reusing formulas which have been successful in the past, such as the series of conferences and talks aimed at trade professionals, the gala dinner that brings together the entire sector, and an inside look at the industry’s new developments and demonstrations, which was held in PANSAFEF Square at the 2019 fair, as well as other activities that are being organised in Valencia and that involve the entire city.
